What you're looking at in the picture above
is the lower level stair stringer that will be used for the lower
section of the split landing stairway. It's always a good idea to cut
one stair stringer correctly and then use that individual stair stringer
as a pattern to mark out the other stair stringer's.
This could save you a lot of time, but you would be surprised at how
many do-it-yourselfers, will lay out three individual stair stringer's,
instead of using one as a pattern. I hope these time-saving tips are
