You don't get to see this too often, this is
the second floor of the room addition that we were building, before the
walls have been laid out and framed.
Whatever you do, make sure that you cut the second-floor plywood
sheeting correctly at the stairway. I don't know how many times a
framing carpenter cuts the entire stairwell even, including the stair
tread overhang area.
Make sure that you keep the same stair tread overhang or nosing, the
entire length of the stairway, including the last step, on to the second
floor.
