You're probably wondering what the marks are
for, at the top of the picture. This is where I was adjusting my framing
square, until I had my stair gauges properly positioned.
After they were in the right spot, I simply turned the 2 x 14 around and
laid out the stairway stringer. Here's a nice shot of the finished
treads and risers, before actually cutting out the stair stringer
pattern.
